Take part in paid market research about virtual reality

If 2016 was the year of virtual reality (VR) due to the launch of new headsets around the world – like the much-awaited Oculus Rift, which arrived in the market less than a year ago –, 2017 will surely be the first big year for VR testing. It all starts at People for Research, as we are now announcing our newest paid research project about this amazing technology.

We are currently looking for people who already own different types of virtual reality hardware such as the HTC Vive or the PlayStation VR headset to take part in a paid feedback session in London. Our client is trying to understand how the users of virtual reality equipment tailor their environment while playing games or experiencing content specifically designed for the VR universe.

If you are a virtual reality fan and wouldn’t mind receiving £150 for 90 minutes of your time without having to leave your house, then get in touch. If you are interested, a team of two researchers will be available to visit you and conduct a short interview about how you use your headset and experience virtual reality content.

With the number of VR users growing in the UK – especially after Christmas –, we expect quite a few people to be interested in this paid research project, so don’t waste any time!

Virtual reality for beginners

If you are not into technology and the latest entertainment innovations, more information is definitely useful. Basically, virtual reality is an immersive experience that transports you into a three-dimensional world where your head movements are tracked by a headset and bespoke software, making it the perfect tool to play games and watch movies, for instance.

Even if you are not the greatest technology fan or you are just not that into VR, you might know someone who is, so please share this opportunity with your tech-loving family members and friends.

With sales of virtual reality headsets growing in the UK at a surprising rate, VR is expected to become sort of a standard in entertainment – and even in sectors like medical training, for example – in just a few years. For now, the paid testing and research opportunities available should multiply, so keep an eye on our website, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
