Free expert advice, rooftop drinks & big prizes at User Research London
It’s countdown time: only one week to go until User Research London. In a few days, over 150 user research and user experience experts will meet in London to take part in the UK’s first user-centred event, and we have big news to announce ahead of the event.
Besides our Participant Recruitment Clinic, where our experts will be sharing free user recruitment advice throughout the day, we have a few other surprises up our sleeve. One of them is a prize draw open to all attendees – we are offering £500 worth of participant recruitment to the lucky winner!
All you need to do to enter the prize draw is get the PFR magazine from the goodie bag that will be given to you during registration, browse through the pages until you find one of the PFR mascots that we have “hidden” in the pages, take a photo of the page (feel free to get creative: take a selfie with the magazine or find an interesting background) and tweet the photo @people4research with the event hashtag #UserResearchLDN.

PFR has more in store for User Research London
One of our highlights of the day is the talk ‘User Recruitment: A Brief History’, which is happening at 11.30am and features our very own Business Development Director and recruitment expert Jess Lewes. Jess will focus on the changes that have affected user recruitment, user research and user experience research/testing over the last five years and how the industry is growing more and more complex.
“People for Research’s Jess Lewes will talk about recruiting users from the perspective of a recruiter and then Whitney Quesenberry from the Civic Design Center will talk about going into communities and recruiting in the moment. It’s these pairs of perspectives that will make User Research London such an engaging day”, said David McCrae, the event founder.
Once the event comes to an end at the RSA House, in central London, all the attendees are invited to join the User Research London team and People for Research at our London office rooftop, located in Wimpole Street, for a couple of drinks.
Tickets to this year’s User Research London are now sold out. However, according to event founder David McCrae, User Research London 2018 is already in the pipeline, so you can start making plans for next year.
