Meet the PFR Team – Alex Evans, Project Manager
Next up in our Meet the PFR Team line-up is… Alex, one of our Project Managers on Team Kate. Alex has been with us for over six months now and he has already achieved an impressive number of nicknames within the office – he’s clearly making quite the impact!
Alex is originally from Hertfordshire, an undoubtedly beautiful area of England (as he reminds us, “it’s one of the home counties!”). He also went to Anglia Ruskin University in the prestigious city of Cambridge and studied English Language, before moving back home to work in recruitment for a pharmaceutical company.
After a while, Alex took the leap and headed west to Bristol, working in graduate recruitment for financial and technology companies. This experience equipped Alex to deal with our more complex research studies, particularly projects involving financial services, which are a regular topic for us here at People for Research.
Wax on, wax off!
When Alex is not searching the nation for niche participants, he enjoys getting involved in martial arts – he has recently started Muay Thai (we’ll remember that next time we call him one of his many nicknames – sorry, Alex!).
He is also admittedly a bit of a music snob, and goes to gigs whenever he can. As well as listening to music and watching others perform, Alex can also play guitar himself. He can even play bass guitar too; “badly” according to the man himself, but we’re yet to witness this!
