PFR support earthquake relief work in Nepal in partnership with PHASE Worldwide
Due to the devastating earthquake on Saturday we felt it was important to raise awareness of PHASE Worldwide and the work they are doing in Nepal.
PHASE Worldwide Director Sarah Galvin and her team of volunteers have been using space in our offices for the last six months; we have also been paying to support to Indra, who is an experienced nurse working in a remote area of Nepal.
Following the earthquake, we have seen the team in action and how hard they have been working to make a difference; we wanted to help them in their amazing efforts.
PHASE are providing help to remote Nepalese communities in need, faster than many agencies and are appealing for funds to do this. For and update on their most recent work please click here.
Can you help?
If you are thinking about donating to the relief work in Nepal, please consider making that donation to PHASE here.
Here is a picture of Indra at work, prior to the earthquake. For more about Indra and our relationship with PHASE, click here to read our previous blog.
As we have a close bond with the charity and the work Sarah and her team do, we wouldn’t normally send out this kind of request… but hope you understand why we wanted to reach out on behalf of the PHASE team and help those affected by the disaster.
