Meet the PFR Team – Ellie Wynn, Project Manager
Having introduced to you other key members of the PFR team like Nicole, it’s time to tell you about Ellie, one of our Project Managers, currently part of Kate’s team. Ellie is currently working on a huge range of projects, from research on personal matters which may be difficult for participants to talk about, to extremely niche projects requiring a tiny portion of the population.
When Ellie is not scouring every corner of the nation for participants, she can be found elsewhere in the world ticking off exotic countries and learning about other cultures. While Ellie seemingly has the travel bug, having relaxed on faraway shores in Australia and the beaches of Brazil, she hasn’t yet managed to tick off a few key spots closer to home, like the Lake District!
Ellie hasn’t always lived in Bristol – although she has been here for over a decade now, so we hope she’s here for the long haul! She has lived all over, having moved to Bristol from Cardiff, studied at university in Southampton and lived in other rural spots in the Midlands.
Experienced recruiter… and bathtubber?!
When it comes to experience, Ellie has heaps to bring to the table. She previously worked for a recruitment company, securing roles for senior and specialised professionals. This explains why she’s so good with our niche projects! She also has customer care experience, which is clear from her helpful and friendly manner when she deals with participants.
Ellie loves to try new things a little ‘out of the ordinary’, shall we say! As well as yoga, paddle-boarding and snowboarding, Ellie has tried more adventurous sports like bathtubbing and akwakats (we didn’t know what they were either, until we met Ellie!). Another fun fact is Ellie’s experience in mixing with the stars – she’s met numerous bands like Radiohead and Supergrass and she’s even made a TV appearance on The Really Wild Show (remember that one?).
Having been part of the PFR team for over six months now, Ellie is well and truly settled in and a vital cog in the Team Kate machine, along with Owain, our Studio Manager, and a couple more elements that we’ll introduce to you over the next few months.
